Welp, it's certainly been a buzz-worthy week for beauty. Between Kim K's "KKW Beauty" launch, Jaclyn Hill's Morphe collaboration, if you're a beauty enthusiast you need to know what's happening (or if you're just interested, that's fine too). Both of these launches happened yesterday, June 21, and sold out out within hours! Anyone else fighting the sudden urge to attempt to snag a beauty product collaboration?
KKW Beauty Launch
Look out Kylie Cosmetics, Kim Kardashian Beauty is here and she isn't messing around. Yesterday, with the help of her trusty go-to makeup artist Mario Dedivanovic, the reality star and business mogul launched her Crème Contour Kits, which come in 4 shades: light, medium, dark, and deep dark. Each contour kit consists of a dual ended contour stick, highlighter , and a dual ended blending brush and sponge. On the KKW Beauty website, it states that the "ultra-creamy and buildable formula makes application easy and blends for a seamless look."
The dual-ended contour stick features two shades, ideal for sculpting hollows of cheeks, hairline, nose and jawline. The dual-ended highlight stick features a matte highlight for brightening without shimmer and a shimmer highlight for a more intense glow. Each contour kit is $48, which is reasonable for 2 shades of contour, 2 highlighters, and 2 applicators.
After a mere 3 hours, Kim's Crème Contour Kits sold out, and she found herself $14.4 million richer. Not bad for a girl with no talent, huh? Undoubtedly there will be future KKW beauty products hitting the market, but until then, I'll be not-so patiently waiting to get my hands on this one.

Morphe x Jaclyn Hill
On June 5th, it was announced that after TWO years, Jaclyn Hill (one of my favorite beauty vloggers) and Morphe cosmetics would be launching a brand new and exciting eyeshadow palette. Featuring 35 shades ranging from neutrals to bold hues, each color is packed with pigment. Thanks to Jaclyn's cult following and incredibly successful Champagne Pop collab with Becca, it was no surprise that this palette sold out online almost immediately and nearly crashed the Morphe website.
For those who aren't familiar with Morphe's products, they're known for their pigmented (and affordable) eyeshadow palettes, as well as their makeup brushes. They have an extensive product line, but I've only ever tried out their brushes and eyeshadow palettes. I'm a fan of Morphe products and a even bigger fan of Jaclyn, so I've got my eyes on the next restock. Seriously, these colors are amazing! For $38 dollars, you can get 35 incredibly pigmented and blendable eyeshadows that will become a staple in your beauty arsenal.
For more information and updates on restocks, be sure to check out the Morphe x Jaclyn webpage on their site.
