Gigi Hadid x Vogue Eyewear Launch Party

If anyone knows how to throw a launch party, it's Gigi Hadid. In celebration of her recent capsule collection with Vogue Eyewear, the 22 year old supermodel's #ShowYourVogue party was definitely one for the books. Gigi was serving some serious Barbie/Lizzie McGuire vibes in a sparkly pink Kreist ensemble, that made me immediately want to Google "Where can I purchase sparkly pink bell bottoms?"

Held at The Industria NYC, the venue was split into three different booths that uniquely expressed the different sunglass styles. Guests had the opportunity to take photos with the models and props in each retro inspired booth as well as rent digital cameras to get Insta-worthy polaroids.

I really just need the world to know that there was a bathtub full of alcohol and sink faucets that served rosé and pinot grigio. And yes, I did ask, you cannot purchase these installments at any home depot store/appliance store *sighs* The other booths included a retro inspired kitchen, where models baked and served mini treats as well as a 70's themed poker table, where the models (and myself) served some serious poker face in our tinted sunnies.

Gigi's collection includes four unique frame styles that all serve serious retro vibes. The different styles include: a flat-top classic cat eye lens, small frames with light-tint lenses, oval-shaped slim frames for that “less-is-more” look, and (my personal fave) bold retro tinted square-lens aviators. Each guest was invited to try on three of the styles from the collection and chose a pair to take home. I knew without a doubt that the tinted square-lens aviators needed to be apart of my summer sunglass wardrobe.

Each pair retails for $140.
